What does a warranty cover?

 

 

 

Manufacturing defects : products that present problems in their operation (performance of the functions for which they were manufactured) and quality defects that are detected by the wholesale, retail customer or by the end user at the time of receiving the product.

 

Quality defects : products that present problems after being used for the period covered by the guarantee (See attached document) after their retail purchase and under normal conditions of use, such as:

 

  • Manufacturing defects that do not allow the article to function properly

 

 

 

Warranty validity:

 

 

 

The validity of the guarantee will start from the day of delivery, invoice and acceptance of the product. For the End User and the distributor, a guarantee will be given for the established times as long as the storage and handling conditions are adequate for its conservation.

What does a warranty not cover?

 

 

 

  1. Damages caused by misuse, modifications, physical damage due to poor storage and handling (scratches, bumps)

  2. Improper handling of the product, its components and parts due to ignorance of the proper use of these

  3. The guarantee will not be valid if:

    1. Inappropriate accessories or elements are used and not recommended by the manufacturer

    2. Liquids are applied (oils, solvents, paints, acids, among others) that have not been authorized and endorsed by the manufacturer

    3. Fire is applied

  4. Due to the natural wear of the product, its components and parts

  5. For claims made after the time established in the warranty has passed

Clarification : in some cases there may be exceptions according to the circumstances and the product purchased by the customer. Conditioned on prior analysis and assessment by the quality and customer service area.

 

 

 

Procedure for making a warranty claim:

 

 

 

  1. To make the guarantee valid, the customer or end user must deliver the product to the point of sale where it was purchased; also the original invoice and the product, as well as all the elements that compose it. In case of not including the complete accessories, a surcharge will be applied for incomplete product

  2. A return letter or form must be attached explaining what the problem is with this. It will not be reviewed if this document is not included

  3. Motear will be in charge of verifying the merchandise subject to warranty, making sure that it is well packed and packed for proper conservation. Motear assumes the costs of transporting the merchandise both for collection and return if the guarantee is accepted.

  4. In the event that the product is not received properly, Motear is not responsible for the guarantee.

  5. The warranty replacement time varies according to the availability for the replacement or repair of the product, which can be from 1 to 30 business days (depending on the availability of the parts, parts and components, as well as the model or reference. )

  6. Motear verifies that its products are shipped complete and in good physical condition. It is the customer's obligation to check the products as soon as they are delivered. In the event that your order and / or product arrives with physical damage or with something missing, the change or replacement will only be valid if it is reported immediately to Motear at the time of receiving the product and within a period of up to 12 hours later.

 

 

 

Replacements:

 

 

 

  1. In the event that the product has been discontinued by the manufacturer or is out of stock, a similar product that meets the same characteristics and functions of the product will be delivered in its replacement subject to a warranty claim. Such replacements continue with the same warranty terms as the original product.

  2. If for any reason it is not possible to deliver a replacement product, a credit note will be given for the invoiced value

 

 

 

Eventuality or fortuitous event

 

 

 

The guarantees are granted directly by the manufacturers through their distribution channels (wholesalers or retailers); Or, in some cases, these are provided by service centers established and authorized for this purpose by the manufacturer. In the event that a manufacturer withdraws from the market without establishing future guarantee criteria, we would not be able to grant them.
